From Ken Platts – (Recorder/Age Records Secretary)
We’re just over half way through the season and so far 13 age records have been claimed, 5 of which were also National records. Details are shown below. In 2017 a total of 63 records were set, so it looks like we are well down on last year, or that claims are not being sent in. The age records at the end of 2017 can be found here on the Group website, (http://www.vttaea.co.uk/home/forms/) together with claim forms,( http://www.vttaea.co.uk/home/forms/) so if you’ve potentially set a record, get your claim in. You don’t need to wait until the end of the season. Application is straightforward, follow the instructions on the form. Remember, all record claims must be in by the end of October.
