The 2018 annual luncheon and prize presentation at the Rosery House Hotel in Exning “overlooking” the E2 was a great celebration of the efforts of our members over the year. Our chairman Andy Grant did a great job as MC and introduced Guest of Honour Matt Bottrill with a very humorous analogy using Dickens’s “Hard Times”. After the presentations, Matt kindly agreed to do a Q&A session, and although there were numerous questions regarding Matt’s own racing career and training regimes, the one question he couldn’t answer was put by Wendy, wife of one of his trained athletes; “How on Earth do you manage get my husband to do what you tell him to do?”<\/p>\n

Davey Jones was on hand to take photographs and did a great job even though he was a little unsure how to capture such slow moving subjects!!! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
