Introduction
The VTTA is the
national organisation for cycling time trials for riders over 40 years of age.
There are 16 groups covering the country. Your local group is the East
Anglian which covers Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk,
Cambridgeshire and East London.
The Group organises events at 10 and 25 miles and there are longer distance
events at 30, 50, 100 miles and 12 hours which are incorporated in other
established local time trials.
VTTA Age Standards
The major basis of competition in VTTA events is the age standard which is a
system of handicapping based on a rider’s age. For details see Standards section
Benefits of membership
If an excess of entries is received for a VTTA event then selection will be
on the basis of fastest on standard but with preference being given to members
of the VTTA..
