Championships

There are several championships organised by the East Anglian group and also Nationally.

Best All Rounder (BAR)

Riders must complete an event at 25, 50, 100 miles and 12 hours. The actual time or distance achieved at each event is converted to speed and the average of the resultant speeds calculated. The time or distance applicable to the rider’s age on the date of the event from the VTTA tables is converted to speed and the average of the resultant speeds calculated. The rider with the greatest difference in the above averages will win the BAR.

In order to enter this competition you should complete the appropriate entry form which can either be downloaded from this web site or obtained from the Group Recorder. The completed form and copies of the relevant result sheets should be sent to the Group Recorder by 15th October. He will then perform the calculation and submit the forms to the National Recorder.

There is no entry fee for this competition.
